European Union

The European Union's anti counterfeiting Office revealed that large-scale counterfeiting was found in textiles and shoes imported from China.

In collaboration with the Ministry of finance of Austria, the customs Investigation Bureau of Vienna, Wiener-Neustadt and OLAF, the European Union found that the citizens of Hungary and Austria would smuggle a large number of counterfeit products from China into the EU, which is achieved through very low prices and false invoices.

The value of counterfeit goods is 15 times lower than the actual price of the brand.

These products include 600 thousand tons of jeans, T-shirts and shoes.

Customs officials said the goods would enter the EU market without paying the EU's value-added tax.
